Vous assurez la transversalité du financement et procédez à l’autorisation du crédit selon les règles établies. Votre expertise vous permet d’assurer la cohérence entre la satisfaction des membres et clients, les objectifs d’affaires, la gestion saine et prudente des risques et la rentabilité.Vous entretenez des collaborations avec divers partenaires et experts en vue de proposer des stratégies intégrées en réponse aux besoins des membres et clients.La personne titulaire agit à titre d’expert en financement. La titulaire de ce poste est en support aux gestionnaires dans l’accompagnement des ressources.General Information on the PositionMain responsabilities

  • Offer support to new resources in terms of integration into the team and coordinate training sessions to explore topics related to their role in collaboration with the manager.
  • Accompany the new resources in their relational approach and their advisory role with members who have financing needs.
  • Provide coaching to new advisors and propose ideas and solutions to improve performance.
  • Provide support to all personal finance advisors as financing experts as well as to the management team.
  • Accompany the advisors and act as a financing expert in the analysis of complex files (federated authorization, self-employed workers, income properties, self-construction, etc.).
  • Analyze mortgage files in order to proceed with credit authorization.
  • In addition to acting as a resource person for all employees in credit files, she contributes to the development of advisors in rate negotiations.
  • In collaboration with the advisor, identify and analyze the needs of the members and clients, develop an adapted solution, prepare an integrated service offer and plan the negotiation of the advisor with the members and clients.
  • Be involved in resource development plans for the financing component.
  • Share best practices in member/client relations, compliance and business development.
  • Monitor and identify business development opportunities to support the competitiveness of the products and services offered. Appropriate and share new developments related to the evolution of credit practices and facilitate this aspect with the team.
  • Ensure the regular follow-up of activities and operations to be processed for financing files within the deadlines as well as the implementation of necessary adjustments in order to improve productivity and the quality of service to members and clients.
  • Contribute to the assessment of advisors in order to promote their professional development in terms of relational and technical skills related to the advisory business.
  • In collaboration with the manager, evaluate the employees level of performance and mastery of their new role.
  • Respect the policies, practices and standards in effect as well as the various laws governing the distribution of financial products and services. Ensure sound and prudent risk management.
  • Keep abreast of financial news, market trends and best practices in your field of activity.

Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in a related field
  • A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience

  • Hold a mutual fund representative certificate – Autorité des marchés financiers
  • For vacant positions available in Quebec, please note that knowledge of French is required

  • Knowledge of financial, economic, political and legislative news
  • Knowledge of all the products and services available to Caisse members and those offered by Desjardins Business Centres, components, and Desjardins and competitor distribution networks
  • Knowledge of debt management
