Job Description

About the role:Voldex is seeking a Data Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will collect, interpret, and visualize data that informs decision making across numerous teams and product groups. Data Analysts at Voldex regularly partner with multiple disciplines (Design, Product Management, Marketing, and more) to iterate on in-game features and monetization tactics.If you’re interested in delivering that kind of impact at a quickly-growing, well-funded start-up, we’d love for you to apply!What You’ll Do:

  • Analyze billions (!!) of rows of data related to Roblox players and provide data-driven recommendations to address strategic and operational business questions
  • Build automated dashboards and reports to facilitate company-wide awareness and understanding of key business metrics and player’s experience
  • Manage and monitor A/B tests - from designing the test to analyzing and presenting the results to closing of the test
  • Coordinate and share insights with internal departments (Game Designers, M&M, etc.) to achieve the common goal of improving the game and maximizing revenue and retention
  • Manage and prioritize multiple projects at a time in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
  • Transform data from a raw, unstructured state into a clean and structured dataset (we use dbt)
What You Bring to the Team:
  • At least two (2) years of experience in business/data analytics: experience working in the games industry would be an asset
  • Demonstrated proficiency with data visualization tools: we use Tableau, but others are welcome
  • Some experience in working with cloud data warehouses: we use Snowflake, but others are welcome
  • Advanced SQL skills
  • Extensive knowledge of Excel
