We believe in empowering people to experience the outdoors to the fullest.And we believe in you.ABOUT THE POSITIONThe Marketing team is looking for a Field Marketing Representative to join their team for a 13-month contract, located in Quebec.This role reports directly to the Field Marketing Manager and works closely with Marketing, Sales Management and Sales Representatives to positively affect sell-through of our product.HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCESupport the CSC Brand(s) at Retail, including Concept /Focus Shops, Brand Signage, Point of Purchase Programs, Digital Marketing with Key Specialty Accounts and Product Knowledge Clinics - LIVE & Virtual with CSC Wholesale Accounts.Establish and sustain positive relationships with accounts through merchandising training, product knowledge training, verbal and written communication and education of our Brand(s).Effectively communicate with the CSC Corporate Office, RMM, Sales Managers, Regional Marketing Coordinator & Regional Sales Manager, Sales Reps and Retail AccountsYOU AREProficient at installing and maintaining Concept/Focus Shops within assigned territory.Capable of managing category fixtures, brand signage and POP programs within assigned territoryExperienced with implementing our visual merchandising standards at the retail level, creating a consistent and positive representation of our brand(s).Able to conduct visual merchandising and product knowledge clinics within assigned territory, training retail associates on merchandising standards, in-store guidelines and consumer buying behaviours, marketing activations, showroom/sales support, and tradeshow support.Capable of submitting product and marketing information / feedback to head office, CSC Sales Managers, Sales Reps and Retailers.Experienced in communicating current trends, competitive strategies, digital learnings and end-use consumer lifestyles to understand market needs.Experienced with completing, maintaining, and executing consistent retail visit reports, digital reports and schedules as per our guidelines.Able to manage assigned territory’s travel budget, expenses, and schedule rotation.YOU HAVEPost-secondary degree or diploma in Marketing with a focus on Visual Merchandising OR equivalentMinimum two years visual merchandising experience in the retail apparel industryA strong knowledge of visual retail merchandisingExceptional bilingual (French/English) oral and written communication skillsThe ability to operate independently while following general guidelinesExperience in MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and ExcelA sound understanding of the internet and social media strategies such as Facebook, Twitter, RRS and SMSExperience with Adobe InDesign and Photoshop (asset)Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.Columbia Sportswear Company and our portfolio of brands, including Columbia, SOREL, Mountain Hardwear and prAna, know a thing or two about adventures.
