Job Description

This is a remote position.Reporting to the Corporate applications IT manager, the integration lead is part of the team supporting HR applications and more specifically applications related to the payroll cycle. The integration lead is responsible for the design, development, production, and maintenance of Workday and other HR system integrations used across the enterprise. This role will be working on the support/evolution of HR solutions. The first mandate of this role is to work in the finalization of the WorkDay Payroll implementation in Canada.RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible to support/maintain all assigned integrations that will be delivered within the WorkDay payroll implementation in Canada
  • Design/Maintain interfaces based on business requirements and build integration solutions using various integration product technologies/tools and services
  • Provide expertise and good understanding of Workday app’s integration framework, object-oriented data model and approaches to integrations (API, Connector, EIB and Studio)
  • Participate in the assessment of the expected time required for development.
  • Delivery of development on schedule while delivering excellent quality
  • Propose recommendations considering business needs, architecture, existing applications, costs, and their impact on processes.
  • Perform regression testing on inbound/outbound integrations with Workday during WorkDay releases and other implementations
  • Provide support on integrations including logging/maintaining tickets in the enterprise ServiceNow ticket tracking system
  • Be responsible for implementing integrations into production.
  • Produce and update technical documentation.
  • Ensure compliance and monitoring of development standards.
  • Collaborate with other teams involved in the payroll process in our global support model
Have experience in the HR sector, mainly the payroll cycle (including HCM) is essential. Have at least ten (10) years of experience in IT projects, including at least three (3) years in the WorkDay environment. Project experience in a technical role on one or more WorkDay payroll implementation projects using SOA tools (Workday Studio or other middleware platform) Strong knowledge of Workday application data model and integration tools (Workday APIs, Studio, EIB, Document Transformation, Report As a Service, Workday Connectors) Possess a team spirit and leadership. Demonstrate the ability to easily adapt to changes. Exceptional written and verbal communication capabilities. Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment Able to operate with tight deadlines and constraints. Have a sense of organization, service, and concern for quality. Able to coach other members of the team relating to WorkDay development tools and servicesQuick Apply
