Main tasks:- Translations in real time for several game applications. Operators will be given in-game notification texts to translate from Japanese to their language within 1 to 2 hours when a particular issue arises in one of the games.- Observation of online communities and forums. Operators will monitor online communities to look for user feedback as well as issues arising in the games and report them, if any.- Operators will have to stay in front of their computers during their working hours and reply quickly to messages sent via chat tools.Osaka-based Active Gaming Media Inc. is looking for several translators/operators who know Japanese for a long term project involving translation of urgent notifications and community monitoring for mobile game applications based on famous anime intellectual properties.This is a great opportunity for speakers of Japanese interested in anime and video games who are looking for a regular and long term project.Candidate profile:- Speaks French at an idiomatic level with excellent writing skills- Good Japanese proficiency, ideally JLPT N1 but at least JLPT N2 or equivalent level- Interested in anime/manga and video games- Attentive to detail and able to work with regularity in a team- Previous experience in translation and/or community management is a plusPlease send a CV and cover letter when applying.
