Job Description

We offer a diversified portfolio of NDT instruments, sensors, software, and robotic solutions for the inspection of critical components and assets in key industries such as aerospace, oil & gas, and power generation. This is an excellent and rare opportunity to become part of Production Team based at our Swansea site.The Warehouse Operator will be responsible for keeping inventory organised, ensuring all orders are picked correctly, issued to the relevant departments and ensure that all goods are booked in/out correctly on the ERP System.Roles and Responsibilities include:

  • Book in all incoming orders and ensure the ERP System is accurately updated
  • Despatch all outgoing orders and ensure the ERP System is accurately updated
  • Operating forklift truck for loading/unloading and perform daily checks
  • Conduct inventory checks as and when required
  • Pick incoming customer orders from Production
  • Book in and check consumption of internal production work orders into the ERP system
  • Assist the Production team and Product Development Team with finding/issuing specific parts
  • Ensure the Stores area is clean, tidy and organised on a daily basis
  • Cover for the Stores Controller as and when required
  • Work as part of the Stores and Production Team to achieve Targets and KPI’s
  • Ensure that Company Quality Policy and Procedures are adhered to
  • Ensure that Company Health & Safety Policies and Procedures are adhered to
  • Some manual lifting will be required
  • Perform any other duties as required by the Warehouse Team Leader
Specialised Skills / Knowledge:
  • Previous experience of working in a Warehouse/Store environment would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided.
  • Previous experience of using an ERP System would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided.
  • Counterbalance forklift truck experience advantageous but not essential as training will be provided.
  • Good Oral and written Communication Skills
  • Ability to interact with people at all levels
  • Ability to work well individually with limited supervision as well as part of a team
  • Highly motivated and flexible with a ‘can-do’ attitude
  • Must be able to work accurately and efficiently, paying special attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook)
