  • Comments:This posting is covered by the Provincial Health Officer’s mandatory COVID-19 vaccination orders and selected applicant(s) must comply.Position SummaryIf you are looking for friendly, supportive staff, work life balance and affordable living this may be just the opportunity that will take your career to a new level.Under the supervision of the Long Term Care Manager or designate the Long Term Care Relations Clerk will perform clerical and secretarial duties related to the care and administrative operations of Long Term Care Services.Dunrovin Park Lodge is a complex care facility with 117 beds. The facility consists of complex care, hospice, respite and special care unit. Maple House is a secured unit with 20 beds and one respite bed specifically for residents requiring more supervision. Hospice Care Unit has three Hospice Palliative care beds and three respite beds. There is a Volunteer Program in place to accompany Residents on social outings, appointments, and provide hospice support. Hairdressing and barber services are available on site for a fee determined by the service provider. Dunrovin also provides an on-site integrated community adult day program, operating 4 days a week.Quesnel has a population of 10,000 (2021) local residents and is one of the central interiors oldest cities and home to the world’s largest gold pan. Nestled on the banks of the Fraser and Quesnel rivers, Quesnel is the commercial centre of the North Cariboo.     • Qualifications
  • Grade 12 plus three (3) years’ recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
    • Skills and Abilities:
  • Ability to type at 50 w.p.m.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to deal with others effectively.
  • Ability to operate related equipment.
  • Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
