  • Monitor fire and security alarm systems utilizing specialized monitoring software and equipment
  • Handle all telephone calls efficiently and in a professional manner
  • Notify appropriate contacts or emergency authorities such as Fire Department, Police, Emergency Medical Services in a prompt and efficient manner following strict procedures
  • Diligently keep required records and files
  • Prepare and distribute reports internally and to external parties as required
  • Follow all established procedures, regulations and guidelines
  • Other related duties as may be assigned
  • Please note that this is not a remote position
Qualifications
  • Verbal and written fluency in both English and French
  • Education: secondary school diploma minimum
  • Preferred a minimum of 1 year experience in the same or similar role such as 911 Operator/Dispatcher, Customer Service Representative (CSR), Telephone Operator/Agent, Call Centre Operator/Agent, Answering Service Operator/Agent, etc.
  • Excellent telephone and communication skills
  • Day Time Shifts (Monday- Friday 7:00am-4:00pm & 8:00am-5:00pm shifts available)
  • Advanced computer proficiency with strong data entry/keyboarding skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to stay focused at all times during working hours
  • Passing criminal record check
