Job Description

Serving both USA and Canada's commercial wind farm industry, we are a dynamic and growing small business, with a highly motivated and uniquely group of skilled technical professionals and is currently seeking an Administrative Manager to join our team.As the successful candidate, you must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills with high attention to detail in your work, strong organizational and time management skills allowing you the ability to multi-task and prioritize your workload. You will need to maintain flexibility as priorities change frequently. You are somewhat technically curious and driven to seek and propose solutions for implementation and constant improvement of all our office admin needs as well.Ideally, two (2) years previous administrative work experience in an engineering or legal office and have extensive knowledge with a range of computer programs including QBO and Odoo (or other ERP) preferred. An enthusiasm to learn specific industry related software programs we require is essential.The position is a 6mo term to start. For the right candidate, a longer term permanent position may be possible.Salary and benefits are commensurate with experience and education. We provide full health and dental benefits.Please forward your resume in confidence to:We are looking for an individual to join our team to provide leadership and be the key person to automate all office administrative requirements for payroll, accounting, project management, manufacturing and engineering departments.Duties will include the automation and integration of the following using Odoo and QBO software as well as other office software as required:

  • Answer and field phone calls
  • Manage and process vendor and client orders/ invoices
  • Manage and process shipping/ receiving
  • Develop and manage administrative aspects of the company
  • Determine and establish office procedures and routines
  • Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems
  • Carry out administrative duties such as filing, copying, scanning etc. as required
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
  • 2+ years of administrative assistant experience, and/or;
  • Be a recent University graduate of a business administration course
  • We acknowledge that driven self starting individuals may have equivalent post secondary education and experience - clearly make your case and this may be considered
  • High energy curious individual who works hard, completes targets whilst being kind
  • Strong organization and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail in all areas of work, particularly reporting and proposal document reviews
  • Excellent oral communication
  • Excellent written communication
