Cobblestone Creek Cottage and Lodging Co. is a boutique-style vacation home rental management company that takes pride in delighting guests with each and every stay. Being awarded the FlipKey and Trip Advisor Top Vacation Rental of the year for Radium Hot Springs for a number of years in a row and with multiple properties across the beautiful Columbia Valley, Panorama, Kimberley, Whitefish, Montana and Big White. We are a growing company that offers guests, home owners and employees a different experience in the tourism industry.We are looking for a Guest Services Supervisor who will be someone who has exceptional customer service experience, enjoys supervising a small team and and is looking to grow their career in hospitability.What you would be responsible forBe the first point-of-contact for guests and ensure they have a memorable and exceptional experience staying at a Cobblestone Creek Cottage & Lodging Co. or Chalets at Big White vacation homeComplete guest bookings in a timely, friendly and professional mannerAddress guest inquiries before, during and after bookingManage all property calendars to ensure they are updated and currentBe knowledgeable about each Cobblestone Creek and Chalets at Big White property and promote the right property to meet guests needs and wantsRespond to guest queries and emergencies after-hours (excluding designated days off)Ensure accurate and regular reporting on guest service activities, reservations and revenue related to guest bookings.Act as the main contact for reservation software, website updates and account managers for OTAS including VRBO, Owner Direct, Airbnb, Bookin.com, etc.Create vacation packages with local spas and other tourism vendors in the Columbia Valley.Provide supervision of guest services staff including setting priorities, providing feedback, training and managing performance, approving time off.Provide administration support in the Cobblestone Creek office including offering office supplies and equipment needed by staff.Complete other duties as needed that support the growth, expansion and continual improvement of Cobblestone CreekJob Requirements/Qualifications:What we are looking forMinimum of 2 years work experience in tourism industryMinimum of 1 year of supervisory experienceDiploma and/or certificate in tourism management or equivalent is idealBe located in the Columbia/Lake Windermere Valley or be able to relocate.Have a strong work ethic and a strong attention to detailWorking experience with vacation property management software, excel and word is idealFriendly and professional with guestsAble to work independently and solve problems quicklyStrong computer skills especially in Microsoft OfficeIs organized, can prioritize with a focus on detailsWhat you need to excel in this positionHave a passion for tourism and a desire to provide guests an exceptional vacation experienceTakes satisfaction in a job well doneLikes to multi-task and have variety in your workHave an eye for detailsSalary/Wage: Competitive compensation based on experience ($19.00-$20/hour)Job Application Process:What we offer youCompetitive hourly wage based on experienceOpportunity to learn and grow through experience and trainingExtended benefits coverageEnjoy an annual Columbia Valley allowanceRelocation support if you move to the Columbia Valley for this opportunityPlease submit your resume and a cover letter by clicking on the Apply Now button below by May 31, 2021.
