Job Description

Are you well organized and enjoy being part of a team driven to deliver exceptional customer service Do you have an agricultural background or machinery knowledge We have an immediate opening for a Service Writer at our Radville location. Experience is an asset, but we are willing to train the right individual.What you will be doing:

  • Field internal and external customer inquiries to the Service Department
  • Assist Service Manager with daily tasks including:
    • Opening and closing work orders
    • Add segments and job codes to work orders as needed
    • Maintain accurate Service Department records
    • Assist in timecard management for technicians
    • Deliver timely information and communications
  • Work closely with technicians and customers, scheduling, updating status of jobs, answering questions on work orders
  • Keep up to date customer profiles using equipment, hours, or other information from the customer work orders
  • Maintain a well-organized service office
For you to be selected for an interview, you have:
  • Experience working in a service department or office environment
  • Basic knowledge of accounting practices
  • Computer know-how, able to use standard desktop applications such as Microsoft 365; SharePoint, Excel Outlook, and Teams
  • Knowledge of office procedures, experience making work orders, and scheduling is a strong asset
  • General understanding of agriculture and mechanical / technical terms in an ag dealership is in asset
  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience
