Meliadine is located just northwest of Rankin Inlet, a small coastal town on the shores of Hudson Bay. Commercial production began at Meliadine in mid-May 2019 and the mine officially opened at the end of June. This mine is our largest gold deposit in terms of mineral resources and we expect to operate it for at least 14 years. The site features a power plant and processing facilities, as well as a complete camp complex.YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE:Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, the Warehouse General Supervisor will be part of the Maintenance department and collaborate with other departments of the mine. The Warehouse General Supervisor will assist the managers to coordinate the logistics of all aspects of the supply chain, which consists of the strategy, the source of raw materials or services, and the delivery and logistics. The Warehouse General Supervisor will plan to minimize shortages and optimize cost. He/she will make recommendations to improve the productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations. He/she will also ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved, while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s culture, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.Your Next Challenge:

• Plan and implement the overall supply chain strategy;
• Collaborate with Meliadine operations teams;
• Determine key supply chain key performance indicators (KPIs);
• Provide solutions for process improvements;
• Identify process bottlenecks and implement solutions in a timely manner;
• Training and performance evaluation of direct reports;
• Collaborate with Finance and Operations to strategize and determine best vendors and distributors;
• Build and maintain professional relationships with vendors.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, or similar relevant field;
• 5+ years of experience as a Warehouse General Supervisor or Manager;
• Knowledge of supply chain management software (such as SAP MM, AP Modules, SAP Plant Maintenance, etc.);
• Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company’s success;
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills;
• Experience working in a multicultural environment;
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team;
• Strong ability to effectively communicate in English (Oral and written). Selected candidates must attain a passing mark on a SPEEXX English language assessment.
