Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Customer Service and Benefits Specialist to join our growing team. As a key member of our support staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, helping them navigate their benefits options, and resolving inquiries in a timely and professional manner. This is a fully remote role, allowing you to work from anywhere within the United States or Canada.Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Support: Provide expert support to customers via phone, email, and live chat, answering questions related to benefits plans, policies, and general inquiries.
  • Benefits Guidance: Assist customers in understanding and selecting benefit plans that best meet their needs. Provide clear explanations of plan options, eligibility, and coverage details.
  • Claims Assistance: Guide customers through the claims process, ensuring they understand how to submit claims, track progress, and resolve any issues that arise.
  • Account Management: Help customers with account-related issues, including enrollment, plan changes, and benefit updates.
  • Documentationamp; Reporting: Accurately record customer interactions, document inquiries, and maintain detailed records of benefits requests and resolutions.
  • Problem Resolution: Identify and troubleshoot issues related to benefits, escalating complex problems to senior team members or management when necessary.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay current with company benefits offerings, policies, and industry best practices to provide up-to-date information to customers.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including HR, IT, and operations, to ensure smooth delivery of services and customer satisfaction.
  • Customer Retention: Build positive relationships with customers, ensuring their satisfaction with products and services, and contributing to long-term customer loyalty.
Qualifications:
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field preferred.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of customer service experience, preferably in a benefits administration or insurance-related field.
