Job Description

Your Opportunity:Are you looking for an opportunity to help people Do you want to be a part of a team that supports the Alberta Health Services’ (AHS) Finance Vision of Satisfied Customers The Accounts Payable (AP) Help Desk may be the job for you! The AP Help Desk is a customer support centre and first point of contact for all internal and external customers of accounts payable by phone and by email. We are a fast-paced team with a high volume of phone interactions and email intake. As an enthusiastic member of the team, you will provide helpful, timely, professional responses and support to our customers. Our primary customers are vendors, employees, and physicians. The team handles inquiries regarding invoices, payment status, as well as provide technical support on the finance applications and processes to all levels of employees. This a temporary full time position for up to a period of six (6) months.Description:As an Administrative Support IV, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program.

Required Qualifications:Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. course(s) in business administration, medical office assistant), or other related fields.Additional Required Qualifications:Minimum 6 months’ experience in a help desk position (or call centre, contact centre, customer service, customer support or related position.) Completion of a minimum post-secondary diploma (or 2 years completed towards a degree) in an accounting, finance or business admin program OR minimum 2 years’ experience in a high volume, automated Accounts Payable position.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with Oracle ERP or similar accounts payable/financial systems (i.e. SAP, JD Edwards, or Great Plains). Experience with Adobe Acrobat software and intermediate level competency of Microsoft Office (Excel and Outlook).Quick Apply
