We want to help you develop your skills and hone your talents to help us do that.Together, we are SECUREHere is an exciting opportunity to join a growing leader in Midstream Infrastructure services & Environmental Solutions in our Metals Facility in Red Deer as a Labourer.Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all SECURE safety policies and procedures are followed
  • Be cognizant of and adhere to any site-specific safety requirements
  • Partake in all safety-related meetings including daily tailgates, last-minute risk assessment, etc.
  • Sweeping
  • Monitoring
  • Sampling
  • Spotting for trucks
  • Must be familiar with operating and servicing small equipment such as forklifts, skid steer, cut-off saws, stationary baler
  • Responsible for sorting non-ferrous material, cutting material to size and packaging
  • Must understand all power and small tools
  • Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment
  • Clean, lubricate and fuel all equipment and general site housekeeping
  • Notify supervisor and or repair shop of any required work to be done
  • Other related duties as required
Qualifications:
  • General laboring and or farm experience is an asset but not required
  • Experience working in on demolitions preferred
  • Oil and gas industry experience would be an asset
  • Basic comprehension and ability to follow SECURE’s Workplace Health and Safety requirements relevant to the assigned work site, including but not limited to SECURE’s safety and hazard assessment process”
  • Ability to complete safety documentation in an accurate and timely manner
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, shoveling, moving containers and other heavy materials
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to persevere through difficult weather conditions, challenging work site environments, and long demanding work days
  • Willingness to work away from home if necessary, moving from project to project as required
  • Ability to manage weather and/or seasonal interruptions in work schedule
  • Certification in WHIMS, H2S, CSTS, First Aid would be considered an asset
