Your Opportunity:Red Deer Regional Health Centre has an exciting opportunity for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) on their busy Adult Psychiatry Unit. The LPN is a pivotal front-line Nursing role which provides clinical intervention and treatment to patients experiencing mental health crisis. The LPN is required to work collaboratively with physicians, staff and management, other departments within RDRHC, community of Red Deer and rural sites within Central Zone. Working within a multidisciplinary team of compassionate and dedicated healthcare professionals, you will utilize your critical thinking and problem-solving skills to competently provide direct patient and family centered care to clients across the life span. You will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of safe, quality care following policies and guidelines of Alberta Health Services. While demonstrating a professional, positive attitude, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills, you have the ability to respond appropriately to a patient #39;s change in status and prioritize conflicting demands.
