Grow your career at the NOVA Joffre Facility with clean working conditions and a focus on employee engagement.”Reporting to site supervision, the role of Scaffolder Foreperson will be expected to start in April working 10 per day, on a 4/3 shif. This position will perform Scaffolder Foreperson maintenance work at our client’s facility located in Joffre.Only local candidates to the Red Deer area will be consideredResponsibilities:

  • Communicate effectively with both Supervision and manage scaffolders to ensure expectations are met
  • Design scaffolds to site requirements, material specifications and CSA standards
  • Safe work practices in the industrial environment with knowledge of Task Hazard Assessments
  • Fully competent with assembling, dismantling and modifying System (Layer/Ring Lock) and Tube & Clamp scaffolds
  • Knowledge of isometric drawings an asset
  • Supporting colleagues and participating in skills transfer
  • Prioritizing daily work load with managing materials efficiently
Minimum Requirements:
  • Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS-2020)
  • Energy Safety Canada Fall Protection Entry & Monitor
  • Energy Safety Canada Confined Space
  • Proof of hours (3000 hours or more) upon request
Preferred Requirements:
  • 3+ Years Scaffolding supervision
  • Scaffold Certificate affiliation is preferred
  • Good mathematical, scientific, mechanical and logical reasoning abilities.
