Job Description

Conifer Energy Inc. is a new entrant to the Canadian Energy marketplace supported by senior industry professionals and an exemplary Operations staff. At inception, our production exceeds 7000 BOED and produces our energy from the best reservoirs in the province of Alberta not only for recovery, but also for their future Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage potential.We are currently recruiting for a Field Operator located at our Redwater facility. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years field operating experience. Preference will be given to those candidates that reside in the Redwater area (within 100 kms of the facility or be wiling to move).Responsibilities

  • Operation and general maintenance of wells, pipelines, battery facilities and related equipment in a sour field operations
  • Identify field maintenance needs with the Lead Operator; assist in the development of preventative maintenance plans, procedures and schedules; coordinate and provide input on downhole repairs, work overs and facility upgrades
  • Perform day-to-day production related activities for area and properties; identify optimization techniques to increase production and/or reduce downtime
  • Optimizing and troubleshooting field and gathering systems
  • Production reporting (SCADA, PVR)
  • Incident reporting
  • Compliance with company safety and environmental regulatory requirements
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent Tech diploma
  • A minimum 3 years field operating experience
  • Strong background in oil and/or gas production
  • Current H2S Alive, WHMIS, T.D.G, and First Aid
  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driving abstract
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience with PVR an asset
  • Ability to work day shifts with on-call rotation (9-hours shifts on a rotating 9 on / 5 off cycle)
  • Good communication skills and works well in a team atmosphere
