Job Description

Location: Regina International Airport (Regina, SK)Ever wanted to know more about working at an airport Here is your chance to find out as ServiceTec, the leading independent provider of managed IT services to the aviation industryhas an opportunity for an Airport Systems Support Technician Level 3 at Regina International Airport. If you are looking for an exciting challenge whereby no two days are the same, then thisposition may be for you. Further information on this role is detailed below:Position Overview: You will be part of a team responsible for day-to-day IT Support and Maintenance activities at Regina International Airport including incident resolution, root causeanalysis, hardware/system upgrades, software troubleshooting, software updates, core room servers, firmware updates, and preventative maintenance on all airport owned equipment.This is a full-time, salaried position with company benefits. The Airport Systems Support Technician will work a 40 hrs work week by way of rotational shifts which cover the airportoperation 18/7/365. The successful candidate will be flexible to work morning or afternoon shifts as well as weekdays and weekends when required.Preferred Experience:Three years+ IT Service Delivery experience with proven track record of:

  • Superior customer service delivery.
  • Experience supporting Windows and Virtual servers, Storage Appliances, Resource Mgmt., Patch Mgmt., VEEAM Backup and Recovery Technology.
  • Working experience of applications such as Microsoft 365, Active Directory, MS Office Suite.
  • Proven experience supporting LAN/WAN equipment and network administration.
  • Enterprise Antivirus mgmt., infection mgmt., Cyber security intrusion detection.
  • Experience supporting VOIP Systems, Access Control and CCTV Systems is an advantage.
  • Experience of working within a site-based customer service environment.
Education and Certification:
  • High School Diploma and/or two (2) years of relevant experience
  • CompTIA A+, Network+ Preferred
  • Windows Servers and Cisco Networking and Firewalls certifications advantageous.
  • Competent in hands on computer hardware repair and maintenance.
Personal Attributes:
  • Friendly and personable with good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks on time.
  • Self-motivated and self-directed.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs. if required.
  • Keen attention to details.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Valid driver’s license.
