As the Associate Vice President (AVP) Portfolio and Program Delivery you will lead the portfolio management strategy. You will develop and expand the program management discipline, operationalize the portfolio and program measurement while ensuring objectives are consistent with mandate and business strategy. You will act as a thought leader, change agent and subject matter expert supporting effective business transformation and accompanying change management tactics.What you’re responsible for:

  • Collaborating with business partners and program leaders to oversee the delivery and execution of transformation initiatives, monitor operational readiness, and manage change impacts to align and achieve the corporate strategy.
  • Developing a structure for portfolio governance, including presenting recommendations for program conflicts, reporting on portfolio status and supporting leaders in executing their deliverables.
  • Designing and facilitating the project portfolio governance strategy and operating framework for the enterprise, ensuring adherence to governance processes and reprioritizing work within the program as required.
  • Actioning appropriate policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines for each area of responsibility to ensure delivery of program benefits and compliance with corporate policies.
  • Leading and engaging your team to deliver strategic objectives through effective coaching and mentoring, identifying and developing emerging talent, and fostering an innovative, collaborative, and agile culture.

To join our team:
  • You have 10 years of leadership experience in Project Management, Program Management or Business Transformation, with a focus on Technological Transformations.
  • You have a post-secondary degree in business or in a related discipline.
  • You have expert knowledge of business acumen, strategic planning, analytical problem solving and organizational change management.
  • Having the Project Management Professional (PMP), Program Management Professional (PgMP) or Prosci Change Management certification(s), including other related accreditations, are an asset.
