Job Description

Looking for a stable and team-oriented work environment within the construction industryWe’re searching for a natural leader and Branch Manager who is ready to make an impact by leading day-to-day operations of the Regina branch.CP Distributors is a trusted, value-added business partner in the construction industry and is dedicated to being the leading supplier of Commercial Doors, Frames, Finish Hardware and Specialties, Integrated Security Systems, and the service and installation of these products.Where you can shine:The ideal candidate has a passion for strategy and is as interested in achieving business results as they are in making connections with customers, colleagues and job seekers. This position is responsible for leading a team and the associated employee engagement outcomes, organizing operational activities and executing the branch sales strategy. The Branch Manager ensures operational and financial performance is maintained and profit margins and revenue goals are achieved. The position is full-time and, for a highly motivated professional, has tremendous growth opportunities. As a Branch Manager, you will be responsible to:

  • Provide day-to-day leadership and direction by communicating job expectations, assessing performance, and coaching all branch departments;
  • Build and retain an effective team and work with employees to set performance goals, expectations, and professional development plans;
  • Collaborate with peers across the country to develop, implement and monitor detailed operations strategies and objectives that meet customer needs and business objectives;
  • Ensure a safe and healthy work environment is a top priority by promoting safety and health policies and procedures;
  • Continuously seek ways to streamline processes for operational efficiency and excellence;
  • Demonstrate proficient business acumen to include financial performance, and success in developing and maintaining customer relationships;
  • Execute, prioritize and meet deadlines under pressure;
  • Negotiate, settle disputes, diffuse and resolve conflicts;
  • Manage inventory and all aspects of the branch assets, including building and equipment maintenance;
  • Strategically manage branch profit and loss and operating budgets.
What you bring to the table:
  • 5+ years related experience;
  • Post Secondary Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience;
  • Valid driver’s license;
  • Progressive experience in the commercial construction industry and/or architectural or engineering profession is required;
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team and effectively manage talent;
  • Project Management experience, PMP or CET designations are assets.
