We are looking for confident Intermediate to Senior Business Systems Analyst who have a deep understanding of how organizations function, perform and change, with broad skills in gathering and analyzing data, analyzing and solving complex business problems, writing and presenting, facilitating and coaching. Grounded in business, you are also fluent in technology – able to assess a client’s current technical environment and develop technology requirements and conceptual solutions to meet business objectives. You are comfortable working with all levels of client organizations – from the executive suite to the front line.Your future duties and responsibilities: Liaison between information technology teams and business teamsIdentify, validate, and prioritize clients’ business needs and requirementsParticipate in and / or lead requirements workshops/JAD sessions to identify business needs and requirementsDocument current business processes, business flows, rules and artifacts, and propose business processes, business flows, rules and artifactsProduce detailed requirements documents and requirements traceability matricesReview and analyze existing application effectiveness and efficiencyDevelop strategies for improving and demonstrating systemsEnsure new software integration meets functional requirements, systems compliance and interface specificationsCreate and implement through test strategies and plansProvide leadership; mentor other team membersRequired qualifications to be successful in this role: 5+years of progressive experience as a Business Systems Analyst in related Information Technology / Information Systems environmentsExperience documenting business rules, data models, business cases and business case summariesExperience with business process re-engineering and business process modelingExperience facilitating workshops and JAD sessionsPost-secondary education in relevant discipline or equivalent work experienceAttributesCommunicates ideas in both technical and user-friendly languageExcellent listener with good interpersonal skillsSelf-motivated and directedExcels in a high-pressure and fast-paced environmentQuick learnerProblem solverTeam playerNice to HaveRelevant certifications or training such as IIBA or PMPExperience using ITIL#LI-AP1Skills:Business AnalysisBusiness Process AnalysisBusiness Process ModellingWorkshop FacilitationITILWhat you can expect from us: Insights you can act onWhile technology is at the heart of our clients’ digital transformation, we understand that people are at the heart of business success.
