Responsibilities:
  • Develop and prepare engineering designs and drawings from preliminary concepts, sketches, engineering calculations, specification sheets, and other industry data
  • Confidence in operating AutoCAD and drafting workstation
  • Submission package preparation and coordination
  • IFC drawings, Record Drawings and related documentation
  • Develop 2D reference models and setups
  • Carry out as-built versus design reviews
  • Ensure drawings conform to CAD standards, specifications and industry data
  • Complete documentation packages and construction drawing sets, within a timely manner
  • Examine drawings for conformity and errors
  • Taking ownership of all your assigned tasks & have a keen eye for detail
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • College diploma or University degree in engineering design and drafting technology, or a related field
  • 5+ years of AutoCAD experience including standardized drafting practices
  • 1+ years of telecommunications training/experience.
  • Proven ability to collaborate and work across multi functions / teams ensuring successful project deliveries
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication
  • Good computer skills, including Microsoft products: PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Excel and similar
  • Willingness to travel if needed
  • You have a strong understanding of the importance of details in construction
  • You are determined and don’t let obstacles stint your creativity- (you are a good problem solver)
  • You have high standards and you hold yourself accountable to them
  • Able to take on newer tasks, as the need arises
  • Must pass a criminal record & driver’s check, drug and alcohol test including a fit for work assessment
