Job Description

Universal Collision Centre has a fantastic opportunity for an outgoing and passionate individual. We need a Collision Repair Advisor - could this opportunity be the one for youWith the goal of providing exceptional customer service, the Collision Repair Advisor is responsible for providing support to Universal customers in the body shop. Join us in creating a friendly and dynamic atmosphere for our customers and colleagues!The Job:

  • Process claims and work orders, prepare correspondence, and fulfill customer needs to ensure the highest level of satisfaction
  • Offer an efficient, courteous, professional experience for our customers, while being adaptable to their needs
  • Communicate with insurance companies on a regular basis regarding coverages, deductibles, etc.
  • Manage and maintain body shop rental fleet including billings to the insurance company
  • Book appointments for both repairs and estimates, with a good understanding of the insurance process
  • Explain completed repairs to the customer
  • Collect payment owed to Universal or to insurance companies
The Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in customer service
  • Experience in a body shop environment would be a definite asset
  • Friendly, empathetic, and dynamic; attentive and able to build a relationship of trust with the client
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Sound decision-making and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to prioritize and maintain professionalism during high-volume periods
  • Self-motived with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Working knowledge of body shop software such as Mitchell is an asset
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
