Our intentional culture promotes trust and participation, encouraging you to bring your heart and mind to work every day.In-ScopeGENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY:The Configuration Analyst is responsible for the implementation and daily operational support of COTS/SaaS applications including troubleshooting, reporting, training, documentation, change management, access management and technical testing. This role implements advanced configurations of COTS/SaaS applications and contribute to project deliverables and business process analysis.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:Note: This section is not intended to be an exhaustive list of duties and responsibilities – other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.ConfigurationConfiguration of COTS/SaaS applications during project delivery and ongoing operations.COTS/SaaS application administration including:Feature upgrade planning, testing, implementationConfiguration of advanced application modules to meet SGI’s configurationMaintain up-to-date versions of application documentationMaintain up-to-date workflow diagrams of data and inter-system dependenciesDocument configuration settings, with focus on changes from default settingsInvestigation, troubleshooting and problem resolution of COTS/SaaS applications, services and integrations.Applies defined technical standards, security and data privacy and best practices.Analysis of business processes related to application interfaces and functions.Analyze and translate functional specification and change requests into technical specifications.Vendor escalation support initiation, coordination and documentation for problem resolution and service level agreement (SLA) reviews.Performs configuration based on requirements gathered from the client.Performs break/fix support, regression testing and supports the inbound/outbound interfaces to various systems and middleware.Implements security and data model specifications as defined by business and legal requirementsCreates support documentation in line with SGI’s ITSM (IT Service Management) standards.Works with the business to align security and functional roles to the guiding principle that role based access will be leveraged within COTS/SaaS applications as they are on-boardedSecurity model analysis, implementation and administration.Supports the investigation and analysis of application transactions and security/access logs.Works with security and identity team to identify and investigate security architecture/integration incidents, changes, problems and solutions.COTS/SaaS application administration, performance monitoring and analysis.Daily operational Implementing service requests and project deliverables.Supports operations manager with incidents, changes, and support for issue resolutionEnsures accuracy and integrity of data and applications through analysis, clear documentation and problem resolution.InteractionsSupports partners and stakeholders through system implementations and upgradesWorks with business lead to understand and test changesBrings summary to SaaS/COTS governance planning committees and business service ownersWork with business users to continually improve service delivery.Performs audit functions on multiple SaaS/COTS servicesProvides input to knowledge management repositories for support, monitoring and run book enablementHigh Performance Team & CultureSupports a culture of leadership and accountability to effectively meet the key accountabilities within the scope of the role.Displays leadership by committing to a culture of continuous learning/development of self and supporting others by actively sharing knowledge, providing guidance, mentoring, training and supporting developmental opportunities.Demonstrates that the Health, Safety and Emergency Management Policy is applied in area of responsibility for self and others.Actively works to support, participate and advocate change and growth mindset.TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLSProficient level knowledge of testing and configuration of software platforms.Proficient level skill with SaaS based products, Cloud technology.Proficient level skill with incident troubleshooting and escalation.Fundamental knowledge of ITIL or related service delivery framework.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCEFour-year degree from an accredited post-secondary education institution from an Information Technology or Mathematics & Applied Science field of study.Five years’ relevant experience.Pay Range:$61,680.00 - $77,100.00Posting Close Date:September 13, 2021As you prepare to submit your application, and cover letter if applicable, please highlight the achievements that demonstrate why youre a great candidate for this role.Quick Apply
