Job Description

Position: Construction SurveyorProject Type: Water TreatmentProject Location: Buffalo Pound, SKShift: DaysSchedule: 10/4 - 10 Hours Per DayAccommodations: LOA - $135/Day (Must be outside the 100 KM Radius and provide 2 documents with proof of current address)Travel Details: AllowanceGC: GrahamAllied Partner: Jardeg Construction Services Ltd.Reference Number: 20306Jardeg is currently recruiting for a Surveryor to work at the Buffalo Pound Water Treatment Plant project for Technical Workforce Inc. locatated near Moose Jaw, SKAs a Surveyor you will be involved doing the following :

  • Must have experience with Trimble Robotic total station and Access software.
  • Must be able to work unassisted and have the ability to read drawings.
  • Environmental aspects (weather, heights, etc.) play important part in this position since one is constantly out-of-doors.
  • Provide work control lines and elevations that are required for accurate measurement and correct installation of materials by field staff i.e., forms for concrete pours, anchor bolts, piping hangers and supports, etc.
  • Assist with performing layout work competently and accurately.
  • Provide checking of as-built conditions that require the use of surveying techniques.
  • Provide topographic and cross-section surveys as required for planning and payment quantities. Assist with conducting quantity calculations as required.
  • Prepare documentation of surveying activities.
  • Maintain condition and adjustment of surveying equipment.
  • Coordinate surveying activities with the assigned engineer to meet the construction requirements.
  • Perform additional assignments per supervisors direction.
Requirements:
  • CSTS-2020 or SCOT
  • Other Safety Tickets may be required such as:
    • Fall Protection
    • Confined Space
    • AWP/EWP
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
