Faculty/Department Faculty of Media, Art and Performance Unit Media, Art, and Performance-Other Employee Group URFA CUPE 5791 Job Family Category Sessional Number of Vacancies 1 Position SummaryMust be able to teach Unity software, computer game design, storyboarding, and industry standards, as well as creative, critical game design, with reference to artistic games and new media art. Preferred experience with a range of computer game applications, hardware and software and experience in game design and creative technologies.This position is dependent on budget approval and possible restrictions as dictated by the University and Province pertaining to COVID-19.Position RequirementsMinimum Qualifications: Ph.D. (complete or in progress) or MFA in Computer Science or New Media/Creative Technologies, or a MA and significant professional experience in the field. Experience teaching at a university level. Experience teaching students from multiple backgrounds and skill levels.Individuals teaching on campus must be double vaccinated, as per university policy https://www.uregina.ca/term-updates/vaccination.html. This course may need to pivot to remote delivery. The capacity to teach on campus, the ability to pivot to remote delivery using URCourses and Zoom, with previous remote teaching experience, are an asset.
