You will oversee the production and content deployment strategy in our regional web page (news texts and newsfeed). You will take part in the development, supervision and application of the social media user strategy to ensure our content engages the public, to animate and stimulate the public’s discussion. You will develop and design special digital and mobile projects in collaboration with the West’s Web Content Editor and the MUSN (network) team. The Digital Producer will collaborate with the Regional Communication Team in the development of the digital and mobile aspects of events. The Digital Producer is aware of new technological trends, applications and tools. You will create opportunities to share your knowledge with other members of the station.Tasks:

  • Support the Senior Producers, oversee the artisans assigned to digital.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of the stations digital objectives.
  • Supervise the deployment of content in our regional web page and on various social networks, including the publication of content on digital platforms on the weekend.
  • Support shows in their digital and mobile approaches.
  • Support teams in the use of various social networks to engage the public, develop and animate the public’s discussion.
  • Support the design and implementation of special digital projects. Work in conjunction with the West team and MUSN network in these projects.
  • Revision of web news texts and texts accompanying audio-video capsules.
  • Writing web news texts as needed.
  • Replacement of web reporters as needed.
  • Prepare and publish value-added content for the regional web page, web texts and social networks.
  • See the sectioning of audio / video elements for publication on our regional web page.
  • Keep up to date on digital trends, new technological developments, new tools and share knowledge with colleagues.
  • Support the Communications team in developing the digital and mobile aspect of events.
We are looking for a candidate with the following:
  • University degree or equivalent.
  • At least five years of experience, including three in broadcasting or a related field, directly related to the field of assignment.
  • A minimum of three years of relevant experience, during which you helped create and publish written content for the web and social media.
  • A proven track record of increasing and maintaining an online audience using social media and other tactics.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond to many conflicting demands within a short period of time.
  • Knowledge of, or experience with SCOOP, considered a strong asset.
  • Sense of initiative.
  • Creativity.
  • Donation for interpersonal relationships.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability and willingness to work overtime, work in the evening, early morning, weekend and / or public holidays as required.
