Dual Property Sales & Marketing ManagerJob Description.· The Sales & Marketing Manager reports to the General Manager and is responsible for executing sales strategies to maximize hotel profitability while maintaining customer satisfaction.Job Responsibilities.· Achieving or exceeding hotel revenue budget.· Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to maximize revenue generation.· Prepare annual revenue budget, annual marketing plan and quarterly/monthly sales strategy reports.· Direct and participate in the sales efforts of the hotel.· Manage the social media intiatives and programs insuring they are current and sales focused· Properly follow-up on leads and administer group and corporate contracts.· Ability to negotiate rates with a client creating a win-win situation for both client and hotel.· Communicate to other department’s other department’s entire special request you may have for guests.· Attend trade shows, conventions and participate with local events and network at chamber events.· Cultivate and source leads through cold calls, telemarketing, direct sales, and networking.· Maintain rapport with competitor hotels, lead sources, clients, and the local community.· Submit weekly sales report to General Manager and Vice President of Sales & Marketing.· Work closely with General Manager and front desk on revenue management.· Possess and utilize excellent time management skills.· Successfully complete Access Edge Certification as required by the brand within 9-months of hire.Job Requirements.
