Job Description

YOUYou’re an experienced copywriter and content wiz looking to work in a multi-faceted marketing agency that specializes in client growth. You’re excited to be part of an energetic team with a roster of exceptional clients. You’re an attentive listener, a strategic thinker and born problem solver. You have the versatility to work across multiple client sectors and an intuitive ability to put yourself in the shoes the customer. You’re at home writing in any medium. You’ve honed your skills in an agency, or marketing/communications environment. Words are your superpower!This position is ideal for an experienced writer seeking rewarding part-time employment, or for a freelancer who wants the security of a guaranteed half-time contract. You have the option of working remotely, but it would be a bonus if you wanted to join us in our Calgary or Edmonton office! (Pending current restrictions.) Because of the need for collaboration, we will only consider candidates who residein the MST, Pacific or Central time zones.ROLE OVERVIEW

  • A part time position (20 hrs/week), reporting to Everbrave’s content director.
  • Provide writing/content development support for Everbrave clients. This includes, but is not limited to:
o Blog posts, guidebooks, video scriptso Email marketing campaignso Website content and pillar pageso Social media postso Audacious ideas that turn heads and get results!
  • Ability to write clever, creative, engaging, strategic, result-focused copy.
  • Follow the brand voice for each client, and ensure messaging resonates with the target audience/ brand persona(s).
  • Work with clients in a diverse range of sectors, including: software solutions, agriculture, energy, b2b, b2c, epc, etc.
  • Integrate SEO keywords into writing.
  • Work with the Content Director and accounts team to generate content calendar ideas.
  • Conduct independent online research where required.
  • Stay on top the latest industry best practices for content.
  • Participate in weekly team meetings and provide a status update on projects.
  • Support on brand development and key messaging.
  • Meet project deadlines and stick to allocated time.
  • Have fun doing what you do!
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
  • 7+ years in advertising, marketing or communication role working with both B2B and B2C clients.
  • Excellent writing, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and under direction.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to work remotely.
  • Comfortable working in a Mac environment.
