Also support the Corporate Finance AP team with payment processing.Role Responsibilities:

• Compile and analyze Vendor rebate financial information for the Merchandising team and its Vendors
• Track and collect Earned Income Vendor Receivables
• Reconcile Vendor rebate information going to our sites
• Reconcile and audit of Vendor rebate agreement set up and deductions to our Vendors
• Process and post Corporate Finance weekly EFT batches
• Identify process improvements and create efficiencies
• Create and run Cognos reporting
• Provide backup for MDM Vendor position
• Is willing to work safely with minimal environmental impact and understands the importance of reporting all hazards, incidents, and environmental spills immediately to their Supervisor.
• Understands that they play an integral role in their own safety and that of their colleagues and is willing to speak out when hazards are present
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Skills/Job Requirements:

• Minimum three (3+) years job related experience in an accounting related role
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business Administration, with completion of an accredited Accounting course
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
• Exceptional mathematical and analytical skills
• Exposure to Impromptu, AS400 and Internet applications required
