Job Description

Ledcor Employee Apply internally in Workday.DescriptionJob Summary:You are an experienced Fuel & Lube Technician with experience to support us on a potash mine project. You take pride in maintenance of production mining equipment to ensure safety and efficiency. You will be an integral part of the Ledcor team working in Leroy SK. This is a long-term project which includes heavy earthworks and underground utilities installation from mass excavations, ditching, road construction and laydown development. For you, safety and quality are a priority, and you are proud of your work at the end of each day.Apply today to join the Ledcor Heavy Civil Mining team on site in SK!Responsibilities:

  • Operate fuel/lube trucks to safely service heavy equipment as required and directed
  • Conduct pre-trip/walk-around safety inspections and completes daily Field Level Hazard Assessments for all activities
  • Complete equipment inspections, report repairs required and assist in scheduling these repairs
  • Complete maintenance records and documentation as required
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with other team members
  • Be a leader of both safety and production for the team by ensuring compliance with all company, client, and legislated safety policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Minimum 1+ year of experience as a Fuel & Lube Technician on heavy equipment
  • Knowledge of parts and servicing of Caterpillar, John Deere & Komatsu equipment types
  • Must possess a valid form of government issued photo identification
  • Must have demonstrated ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Must successfully complete pre-access drug and alcohol testing
  • Must possess valid CSTS
Work Conditions:
  • Experienced applicants that reside in Leroy, SK or surrounding areas will be given preference due to the location of this project
  • 14 days on / 7 days off rotational shift, 12-hour work days
  • Camp based accommodation provided for non-local candidates
  • Travel allowance provided from approved locations
  • Work will be primarily outdoors in various weather conditions
