The Opportunity:The purpose of the Driller/Locator is to perform the coordination and installation of underground conduit, cables and utilities.What You Will be Doing:Keep site lead current on the status of any issue(s) that may have an impact on the work being performed.Conduct and participate in field level safety meetings, tool box talks, and health and safety informational awareness.Ensuring strict servicing and maintenance times to minimize downtime and maintain schedules.Ensure equipment appearance is maintained to Burton standardsAbility to perform other routine maintenance work as requiredOther duties as required.Qualifications: 2+ years experience operating Horizontal Directional Drilling and/or Locating equipmentWhat You Need to Succeed:Valid Drivers License with clean drivers abstract.No criminal history involving violence, fraud or theftStrong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilitiesWilling to travel, work extended hours in all weather conditions.Self-directed and self-motivated, demonstrating a high level of professionalism, ethics, confidence and a commitment to a team approach.
