Job Description

Are you passionate about seniors Eden Care Communities creates a space for individuals to live their best life with meaning, purpose, and choice. Our homes have intergenerational relationships, animals and plants. We are currently looking for Housekeeping and Laundry Assistants for our Broadway Terrace location.Responsibilities

  • Provide support for Housekeeping and Laundry Services
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary environment for all residents, staff, and visitors
  • Provide a variety of housekeeping services such as sweeping, vacuuming, dusting and laundry
  • Clean assigned areas according to a schedule using appropriate cleaning and sanitation methods and procedures
  • Adhere to rules regarding health and safety
Qualifications
  • Complete Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Knowledge of WHMIS
  • Good communication skills
  • Food Safe Certificate
  • Able to meet the physical demands of the position: walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, bending, and kneeling
  • Able to operate all housekeeping, laundry and food services equipment
  • Able to work independently
  • Hours: Must be available for the following shift types: Monday to Saturday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm.
