Manager, Program Delivery - PLA000821Employment Type: Permanent Full-timeLocation(s): SK-Rgna-ReginaMinistry: 001 AgricultureSalary Range: $7049-$9165 MonthlyGrade: MCP.07.The Ministry of Agriculture is seeking a highly motivated and innovative individual with excellent interpersonal skills to join the Programs Branch team as the Manager, Program Delivery. You have in-depth knowledge of process management, strategic and operational planning, reporting processes and methodologies. You have a working knowledge of government decision making and budget planning and management processes.Reporting to the Director of Program Delivery, this position will assist in the delivery of the ministry’s programming under the Canadian Agricultural Partnership.By analyzing application volume within the portfolio of programs you will lead a high performing team to effectively deliver client centered service in a way that meets or exceeds the ministry’s service standard. You will also collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on developing and delivering a high-quality experience.You will be a proactive and strategic thinker able to create and apply a set criteria or methodologies for effective and efficient program delivery. This requirement is to ensure the ministry has an accountable and defendable program delivery model as well as ensuring the responsible use of program funding.You will understand key principles of program delivery including staffing, prioritization, analysis, budgeting, and forecasting. You will understand the needs of our clients, the desired outcomes of the programs, and how they will meet our stakeholder needs. In addition, you will review our processes and policies for consistency and through a lens of continuous improvement.Our candidate of choice will have excellent communication skills, outstanding attention to detail to ensure accuracy and the ability to multitask and work unsupervised. You must be able to work and lead in a team environment. Typically, knowledge for this position would be obtained through a degree in public policy, administration, economics, or a related discipline, coupled with several years of leadership experience in strategic and operational planning and reporting.
