Paradise Pools (Commercial) Inc. is a leader in the commercial pool market in western Canada. We are a growing company that has been part of the Saskatchewan Swimming Pool industry since 1970. As we grow we require great people to help and accelerate our company to take it to the next level.JOB SUMMARY:The Commercial Pool Construction Worker is an integral part of the commercial company team and carries out processes in accordance with the direction, policies, and objectives set by the Site Manager, Lead Hand and Commercial Manager. The primary responsibility of this position is to cooperate with our team in construction activities on the job site – this includes preparation, execution, safety, and clean-up. Secondary duties of this position are to assist the Site Manager & Lead Hand in the completion of all job site activities of Paradise Pools (Commercial) Inc.RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:Have a thorough understanding of and be able to communicate with Paradise staffWork closely with the Site Manager and Commercial ManagerPrepare for each workday with appropriate tools and materialsEnsure quality construction and workmanship.Ensure all tools and materials are properly cleaned up and stored at the end of each dayAssist Lead Hand with job execution & maintaining job schedule.Participate in weekly toolbox talks to promote advancement of safetyPerform other miscellaneous duties including errands as necessaryMust be willing to travel and stay away from home for multiple weeks at a time.Must be willing to work minimum 40 hours/week plus 10 -30 hours of overtime/week in the busy season.Must be willing to work Saturdays.SKILLS & CHARACTERISTICS REQUIRED:At least 1 year of professional experience on a construction job site. Experience in Hot Air Welding, Concrete Forming & Placement, Concrete Finishing, or PVC Plumbing would all be a definite benefit to your position.Must have a Valid Driver’s License with the ability to legally added to our insured drivers list. Ability to drive large vehicles and pull trailers would be definite benefit to your position.General construction & power tool usage skills an asset.Ability to lift at least 25 Kilograms (55 lbs.).Ability to follow through tasks with minimal supervision.Ability to properly complete task assigned.Effective communication skills and the ability to connect with people from a variety of backgrounds.IMPORTANT: At Paradise Pools (Commercial) Inc., we are dedicated to our customers and find that our construction season is usually between April(Spring) to October(Late Fall). Our crews tend to find lots of time to relax and recharge during the winter months(December - March) using banked overtime from our busy season.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: $20.00-$25.00 per hourBenefits:
