The Connected Care Services Branch (CCSB) leads strategic policy and service development in the areas of primary and community health care.OpportunityConnected Care Services Branch is seeking an individual to join our Analytics Unit as a Research Officer. This position supports our branch to fulfill its responsibility for planning, delivery, and evaluation of province-wide programs that enhance and ensure seamless patient care within the Saskatchewan health care system. Ideal candidates for this position are detail oriented and collaborative, and have proven research, data analysis, problem solving, and communication skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are important to support our collaborative work with a variety of health system and inter-Ministry partners, and to effectively communicate the results of all analysis and evaluations undertaken. Experience working with health care information would be an asset. Knowledge of the challenges facing the health sector is important as well as a keen interest in learning more about health care system improvement.As a Research Officer, you will apply logic, data analysis, and research skills, to the assessment of a variety of complex health care issues. Some examples of key work in this role include:
