Job Description

Amazing Opportunity - Calling all hospitality professionals! Currently recruiting for a full time permanent Revenue/Reservations specialist to join the team of Hospitality professionals at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel & Conference Centre Regina. The Revenue & Reservations Specialist ensures to maximize the Revenue per available rooms (RevPAR) by following the SilverBirch & Brand Reservation & Group Standards. He or she will be a support to the Area Revenue Manager, and in some cases, the Sales department.Job Duties:

  • Takes any in-house reservation as needed on a daily basis
  • Ensures that rooming lists are entered within one business day
  • Champions the call-quality programs for the hotel; ensure proper training for in-house reservation agents (if applicable), coaches Guest Service Agents & Leaders as necessary
  • Works closely with the brand Central Reservation team lead/agents; ensuring they have the proper information they need in the system, communicating our selling strategies/promotions, and conducting at least 1 test call per week
  • Attends and maintains Brand Online training requirements and/or certifications
  • Ensures each new group is entered into PMS with 1 business day
  • Responsible for balancing Property Management System with Delphi Sales Program to ensure accuracy of inventories
  • Responsible for rate loading
  • Monitors each group’s inventory; including ensuring that each room type is available for each day
Skills and Qualities:
  • Excellent organizational skills and able to work in a high volume environment, including multiple departments
  • Excels in adapting to various computer programs and software including property management system
  • Excellent customer service and problem resolution
  • A strategist, team player who likes statistical and financial analysis
  • Detail oriented]
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 2 years in hotel revenue generations or front office & reservations supervisor/agent role
  • Post-secondary education in Hospitality, Revenue/finance or Business preferred but not required
  • Proficiency in Excel and spreadsheet applications
  • Opera, OnQ or Marsha/FOSSE property management system experience would be an asset
