Job ID #350352Security SpecialistOn behalf of our client Procom is looking for a Security Specialist to be based in Regina Saskatchewan for a 6 month contract that could extend.Security Specialist Job Details:

  • Strengthen controls and auditing capabilities in Active Directory (AD), Azure AD, Microsoft Endpoint Manager, and M365.
  • Develop DLP policies for Microsoft Purview.
  • Perform a risk assessment of audit recommendations and security vulnerabilities to prioritize security action plans.
  • Refresh the curriculum for WCB’s cybersecurity awareness program.
  • Develop an action plan to migrate from on-premise AD to Azure AD.
Security Specialist Job Responsibilities:
  • 1. Complete assessment of current controls and auditing capabilities in M365 by March 31, 2023.
  • 2. Complete enhancement of DLP policies by March 31, 2023.
  • 3. Complete a risk assessment of audit recommendations and security vulnerabilities by February 28, 2023.
  • 4. Develop an action plan for audit recommendations and security vulnerabilities by March 31, 2023.
  • 5. Refresh the curriculum for the clients cybersecurity awareness program by January 31, 2023.
  • 6. Develop an action plan to migrate to Azure AD by April 30, 2023.
  • 7. Update the client’s NIST controls tracker by June 30, 2023
.Security Specialist Must Have Skills:
  • Relevant education and/or certifications
  • At minimum ten (10) years of experience in the role of a Security Specialist.
  • Experience and expertise in managing security in M365 environments.
  • Proven ability to analyze complex problems and find innovative solutions.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal, management, and communication skills at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong oral and written skills.
