The term for this position is April 15,2023 to March 31,2024This position provides services to newcomer students and parents in schools in Regina and surrounding rural communities with a main focus on Dari/Pashto speaking newcomer clients.The Settlement Support Worker in Schools (SSWIS) program is a shared partnership between the Regina Open Door Society (RODS), the Regina Public School Board (RPSB) Regina Catholic Schools, Prairie Valley School Division, Conseil des Ecoles Fransaskoises, and Immigration Refugee and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). It is an outreach program to help newcomer students and their families settle in their school and community.Desired qualifications/education
