Job Description

Faculty/Department Faculty of Social Work Unit Social Work - Student Employee Group CUPE 2419 CUPE 5791 Job Family N/A Category Student Number of Vacancies N/A Position SummaryWorking under the direction of the instructor, Sheila Georget, the teaching assistant will be responsible for assisting with completion of duties associated with the delivery (via zoom) of SW 412: Mental Health Services, during the Winter 2022 semester. Duties include monitoring and responding to online small group discussions, grading assignments, and other duties as needed. Classes will be on Thursdays from 7:00 – 9:45 p.m.Position Requirements

  • Preference given to a U of R graduate student in Social Work
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with social work practice
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
