Job Description

Faculty/Department Faculty of Education Unit Education-Other Employee Group CUPE 2419 CUPE 5791 Job Family N/A Category Student Number of Vacancies 1 Position SummaryThe successful applicant will:

  • Support Instructor in general facilitation of course activities for ESST 350
    • Lead group activities
    • Facilitate small/large group discussions
  • Assess student course assignments – using established course expectations (rubrics)
  • Communicate with, and support students with their questions and/or technological concerns
Position RequirementsThe successful applicant will:
  • Be a current graduate student in Education at the University of Regina
  • Have demonstrated strong communication and presentation skills
  • Have strong academic reading and writing skills
  • Be comfortable and familiar with technology (Zoom, UR Courses, etc.)
  • Preference will be given to applicants who:
    • have experience working within secondary classrooms in Saskatchewan
    • have experience working with Saskatchewan Secondary Social Studies curricula
    • have an understanding of/experience with culturally responsive pedagogy
    • be familiar with backward design planning
