Duties are assigned by the instructor of each course requiring a GTA/TA. The GTA/TA will be responsible for assisting instructor(s) to a combined maximum of 120 hours, assigned by the Engineering Faculty. Duties would normally consist of assisting with instructional program of undergraduate courses, and/or marking assignments or tests; invigilation of tests and exams; and/or leading lab sections with associated marking, preparation and assignments; and/or marking assignments or tests.Position RequirementsStudents must have completed the class requiring a Teaching Assistant, prior to being selected fora position. Preference will be given to those students who have achieved a certain gradepreviously in the class. A list if classes possibly requiring a GTA/TA are listed below. Preference ofclasses can be indicated on the application form.
