In this role, you will be hands on with test planning and testing while looking for opportunities to grow the testing scope with our clients.ResponsibilitiesDevelop project test plansDevelop master test strategiesIdentify and allocate QA resources needed for the projectProvide work estimates and QA-specific resource requirementsProvide guidance and best practices for testingProvide testing resources with training and mentoring on the testing processes, test standards and testing toolsCollaborate with automated test engineers for test automation consulting and supportConfigure test management tools and ensure that the standard workflows are implementedReview requirements for testability, ambiguity or redundancyEnsure traceability matrices are availableCommunicate the progress and status of testingIdentify testing risks and provide a risk mitigation planCoordinate the testing efforts for projects that involve multiple applications or portfoliosCoordinate and facilitate defect triage meetingsProvide testing metrics and KPIsKeep stakeholders informed of the progress and status with appropriate dashboards and reportsEscalate QA issues to the project managerTransfer knowledge of project testing to client resources after completion of the projectQualifications10+ years testing experience, with several years of proven leadership experienceGood knowledge of various QA methodologiesPost-Secondary degree (Computer Science or similar preferred)Test metrics and reportingStrong communication, leadership and people management skillsPreference given to candidates with experience in multiple industry domainsWork With UsWho We AreProfessional Quality Assurance (PQA) is one of Canada's premiere nearshore business technology outsourcing providers.
