Job Description

  • Remove old materials and prepare surfaces.
  • Work at various heights while carrying tools and equipment.
  • Measure a wall or a ceiling.
  • Cut wall covering to fit and install the paper, vinyl, or fabric coverings.
  • Other duties include mixing and applying pastes, trimming wallcoverings at floor and ceiling levels, and ensuring the wallpaper lays smoothly against the wall.
Required Qualifications:
  • Wallpaper trade certification or equivalent would be an asset.
  • Two (2) years of working experience
  • Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Regulations would be an asset.
  • Knowledge of workplace safety and safe lifting and handling procedures.
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to stand and/or be on their feet 10-12 hours/day.
  • Able to lift 50lbs.
  • Use proper lifting techniques for heavy items weighing more than 25 kilograms.
  • Work at various heights while carrying tools.
