Job Description

Brandt is currently looking to fill a Web Content Specialist Role in our Regina, SK location.The Web Content Specialist is responsible for the creation and maintenance of website content forproducts and promotions, maintenance of Brandt websites, and the overall website user experience.Marketing strategy for online tactics and new applications will also be a part of this role. This role will alsoserve as a web advisor to the Brandt marketing team, and reports to the Manager of Web Content.Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Create and acquire content for new products, programs, promotions, divisions, and new web layouts while maintaining consistent branding.
  • Work with marketing team members in updating news, testimonials, events, company locations and social content.
  • Manage new, discontinued, and existing product information to ensure content is up to date.
  • Work with business stakeholders to determine product information and development needs, documenting requirements in clear and easy-to-understand language.
  • Monitor & maintain schedule for all web and design work with various technology staff and marketing.
  • Work with marketing team to ensure online advertisements are linking and measured correctly.
  • Interpret website analytics, test, and change webpage structure if necessary.
  • Track improvement initiatives (ranking, bounce rate, time on site, etc.) and propose them to colleagues during site performance discussions.
  • Contribute to site performance discussions to provide ideas for improvement (ranking, bounce rate, time on site, etc.) for specific pages or sections of the site.
  • Ideate and brainstorm with various teams to create the best possible experience for users.
  • Contribute to and implement user experience design efforts for a variety of web pages.
  • Assist in the testing of website development initiatives.
Required Skills
  • Experience in translating complex concepts, customer needs, motivations, and behaviors into easy-to-understand interactive experiences and deliverables.
  • High degree of computer literacy: experience working with HTML, CSS (bootstrap), Adobe Photoshop, web design, Adobe XD, and code editors. Miro, Mural, JavaScript, PhP, SQL, jQuery, and cPanel experience is a plus.
  • Proficient with tools such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, and Google Data Studio.
  • Proficient with UTM codes and advertisement tracking.
  • Direct experience producing, writing, and managing online content.
  • Knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) best practices, strategy, and tracking as applied to content and site structure.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with multiple stakeholders, including content contributors and reviewers, graphic designers, and web personnel.
  • High attention to detail, with excellent spelling, grammar, and punctuation skills.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Experience working in the heavy equipment industry is a plus.
Preference will be given to those with experience/knowledge in:
  • Performing quality assurance, troubleshooting, and debugging.
  • Creating and running digital marketing.
  • Content delivery networks.
  • Creating and running emails and email marketing campaigns.
  • Human Centered Design.
  • Data privacy regulations best practices.
  • Data asset managers, product information managers, and customer relationship managers.
  • Multilingual & localized website management is preferred.
  • Proficient in both English and French is preferred.
Required Experience
  • Degree or Diploma in a related field or the equivalent combination of training, education, and experience.
  • 4+ years experience in web design, web publishing, and content management.
  • Created and managed web content using a Content Management Systems (CMS). Kentico and Drupal experience is a plus.
  • Designed, developed, and managed websites.
