Job Description

VanWest College invites applicants who are available and interested in teaching Contract Administrationamp; Law within our career training business programs at the Vancouver campus.This includes basic knowledge and skills needed in the contract administration associated with procurement. Topics include processes, law, and documentation associated with the preparation of tendering documents, bidding, selection of vendors, drafting/awarding of contracts, control of contracts, and closing of contracts. Differences in contract administration between nations will be covered.Schedule:

  • Our academic terms run every 8 weeks.
  • Classes are delivered in 3.5-hour blocks (twice or three times weekly, Monday--Friday) from 3:00 PM to 9:30 PM. Each course requires 56 hours of in-class, Instructor-led delivery per 8-week term.
  • The total contract amount payable for each course is $1792.00-$2032.00, plus taxes if applicable.
The following are the start dates for the year of 2022-2023:
  • Oct 02, 2023
Education, Experienceamp; Required Skills:
  • Relevant industry experience of at least two years--Law Degree, specializing in contract law and Supply Chain Procurement.
  • Undergraduate degree in business or other relevant disciplines OR relevant industry experience of ten years.
  • Excellent communications skills (written, verbal).
  • Proficient organizational skills.
  • Able to work independently and in a multi-cultural collaborative team setting.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities.
