At Fusion Security, qualified technicians:
  • Are provided with in-house, manufacturers and external training programs
  • Are cross-trained in multiple systems including Access Control, CCTV, Intrusion, Intercoms
  • Are trained for the complete installation process from wiring, panel mounting and wiring through to complete system programming
  • Are trained and given the ability to coordinate and manage their own projects
  • Develop incredible networking and computer skills
  • Are encouraged to pursue industry licensing and certification programs that will further develop their security systems skill set, paid for by the company
Responsibilities: As a security technician at Fusion Security, you #39;ll:
  • Installing and servicing electronic security systems, including CCTV, intrusion alarms, and access control
  • Pre-wiring, installing, programming, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance
  • Provide administrative support to and coordinate project details and updates with office systems team members and project managers - experience with filing and completing project documentation
  • Schedule flexibility with the ability to work as required before or after your regularly scheduled hours, and/or on a day when you are not regularly scheduled to work
Candidate Requirements:
  • 1+ years of experience in Access Control, CCTV or Intrusion Systems. BCIT Security Systems Program Graduates will be considered
  • Valid BC Security License is required
  • Valid Class 1 through 5, BC Driver #39;s License with clean Drivers Abstract
  • Holds Safety and Security to a high standard
  • Experience with Project Planning, Installation, Testing, and Documentation skills (Intermediate and senior)
  • Excellence in Customer Service
  • Computer and Networking experience
  • Experience with ULC systems (not required, but an asset)
  • Able to legally work in Canada, and currently residing in the country
