  • Assist in all needed maintenance on passenger ropeways and conveyor lifts to the Z98 standard.
  • Assist in running a clean and professional workplace.
  • Ensure that all related activities are conducted in a safe manner through sound judgment and knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines.
Required Qualifications and Abilities
  • Must have a grade 12 diploma or equivalent.
  • Have a broad base of mechanical knowledge.
  • Lift operation experience is an asset.
  • Must be in good physical condition and be able to lift and position heavy equipment approximately 50lbs.
  • Must be able to carry heavy loads over mountainous terrain as required.
  • Must have a valid driver’s licenses (drivers abstract required).
  • Must be able to work in potentially hazardous environment with exposure to variety of physical conditions such as proximity to moving mechanical parts and electrical current.
  • Must be prepared to work flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
  • Must be prepared to work long hours in inclement weather.
  • Must work well with others in a dynamic atmosphere.
Compensation and Benefits$18.00/hr
