Job Description

The Big Eddy Liquor Store is looking for someone to take on the role of General Manager. Wage starts at $22 an hour, but raises are available throughout employment. Looking for someone to start immediately, but were also willing to wait for the right candidate if needed. Must currently reside in Canada.Your duties will include:

  • Lead team members in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Maintain store appearance and product presentation
  • Conduct product research, bring in new products, and market them to our customers
  • Place orders, accept deliveries, and enter in items received into POS system
  • Work alongside product reps to bring in new products and run seasonal promotions
  • Set sales goals with Owner and develop strategies to reach those targets
  • Monitor sales reports and complete sales tracking sheet to monitor profit and loss against prior year
  • Set out projects for staff members and ensure they are completed on time
  • Interview and recruit new employees
  • Create the weekly schedule, adjusting to staff availability
Requirements/ Education
  • Knowledge of office processes, procedures, and technology
  • Liquor product knowledge is an asset
  • Strong people skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Team player with strong communication skills
  • Positive attitude and excellent customer service skills
